Happy Holidays everyone!!
A very eventful year is nearing its end, and with its eve comes GIFTS!!
Our special gift to you is: NEWS!!

Quite a bunch has happened since the last newsletter.
We've got a LOT to announce today, so sit back, grab a cup of cocoa as we tell you all about the latest updates from a fangame that's almost old enough to say it's first word.
A cold, beautiful portrayal of a complete moron's idea of "Success".
Progress has been going spectacularly!
We have done some incredible work on the explorable areas of the chapter, and while our main focus this season was on the rooms, we have made some major progress on other sections, such as:
- Finishing the surface prologue. (All Cutscenes)
- Finishing the maps of the final area. (Except Hazards)
- Finished the blueprints for the Aircenter segments.
- Finished some enemy bullet waves. (Only 2 remain now)
- Finished the tileset for the first Aircenter segment.
- Started work on the surface epilogue maps. (Around 80% complete-ish)
- Started work on the Desert area's cutscenes.
- Started work on the Aircenter segments.
- Updated all of the 3Chips' sprites
- NPC Work. (Minor and major)
Overall this has been an amazing season for development. We're on fire!!
(In my case, quite literally, as at the time I'm writing this I'm. getting temperatures above 32 thanks to my hemisphere)

"IT BURNS!! IT BURNS!!!!" - Silly Stoat, melting into a puddle of unjoy.
And since we touched on the subject, today is my birthday!
Back when I started this project, I was a fresh 17 year old almost done with school, now I'm a 20 year old adult almost done with...this game? Huh, how'd that happen...
Of course, I'm not saying this for no reason, another birthday is soon to come and we have something very special planned.
You already know what it is if you're paying attention, but if you're not, then I suggest you stay tuned...
You may have noticed we have had far more progress in this newsletter compaired to the previous one, and this is partially the reason why!
Newhome Studios is a private community of artists, developers, and other creatives in the Undertale/Deltarune fandom.
We joined Newhome as part of their project catalogue, and with it we gained access to new team members that accelerated progress incredibly! Coders, animators, artists, and voice actors!
We also gained a new producer that checks up on us and makes sure we are on schedule, this has increased productivity like nothing else before!!
"I LOVE WORKING!!!" - Silly Stoat, in a mix of fear, happiness and motivational speeches.
We have lots of cool stuff in motion thanks to our partnership, but that's all we can share right now, no one likes spoiled surprises right?
Another cool thing that began happening thanks to our partnership, we finally got localization in motion!!
We had it in mind ever since the game's first conception, but work only began recently as we got translators to localize the game for other languages.
It's a lot of work, since we are also localizing the terms and jokes in the dialogue, which includes the names of a few characters.
We won't say which ones to not spoil any surprises, but a lot of our original characters are named after specific puns that need to be localized to make sense in each respective language.
No UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE character was renamed, however, only the original FOUNTAINTALE cast are going through this process.
At the moment, we are working on Portuguese, Spanish, French and Russian translations of the game, but we are open to basically every language!
We are interested in Japanese, Korean and Chinese translations, but if anybody from any other language not mentioned here is interested in helping us localize the game to your language, our socials are always open.
9 months ago, on our last non-newsletter Status Update, we announced a series of prequel comics, "Tales From The Fountain", the first issue being focused on Stella.
We spent that time writing, illustrating and coloring all 12 pages of "A day in the life of Stella", and now we are proud to announce the release date: TODAY!!!!!
That's right, you can go read it NOW!!!
We hope you like it, we worked very hard on it.
Now Mist will enjoy a deserved, warm and cozy winter break, since the next issue is in the hands of another artist. (And work on the game itself too, as she has been doing for the entire year.)

Thank you for reading! Looking back at this year, it was quite productive! Lots of progress has been made, and our schedule has been met with almost perfect time.
It could have been better, of course, but that can be said to anything in life.
Enjoy the time you have with the people that make you happy to be around, you never know when it will end.
